From repository to useful agent context

SynapCTX gives MCP-compatible coding agents a shared view across repositories and sessions. Start with one organization, connect the code you want indexed, then teach your agent when to retrieve, verify and remember.

1. Create an organization

Start a 14-day trial in the Customer Console. No card is required. The organization becomes the isolation and billing boundary for repositories, members, context and memory.

2. Connect repositories

Authorize the repositories you want SynapCTX to index. Begin with a representative service and one of its upstream or downstream dependencies so the first cross-repository question demonstrates the graph.

4. Ask with the right guarantee

  • Use retrieval to understand unfamiliar systems and conventions
  • Use reference and dependent tools before shared changes when exhaustive impact matters
  • Read the limits attached to every answer; absence from ranked retrieval is not proof of absence
  • Keep sctx watch running when an agent must reason about substantial uncommitted work

5. Preserve decisions

Recall organizational memory before re-deciding architecture or conventions. Store a memory when the team makes a durable decision, including both the decision and the reason behind it.

Troubleshooting

  • Confirm the repository is connected and indexing is complete
  • Confirm the agent is using the endpoint for the same organization
  • Check whether the answer reports ranked or exhaustive scope
  • Remember that uncommitted edits require the working-tree companion
  • Never paste access credentials into prompts or support messages
